WHO WE ARE

We are fascinated by orchids: their morphology, ecology, biological interactions.
Our goal is to produce scientific knowledge and foster conservation of brazilian orchids.
We want to understand processes of diversification, especially along the eastern brazilian mountain ranges and the relationship of polyploidy, apomixis, mycorrhizal associations and speciation.
We aim to contribute to orchid conservation by reintroduction of orchid seedlings with mycorrhizal fungi and educating the population on the importance of orchids.
